Answer Yes, the motor is DC
Question Does the 6" and 10" downrod come with every fan?
Answer Yes, both downrods are always included
Question What is the final height when it is mounted as a flush mount? I have a very low ceiling, and I am concerned about the final height.
Answer The total height from ceiling to bottom of fixture when mounted flush is 11.4"
Question Can these fans be mounted on the outside Such as your front porch?
Answer The Oceano can be installed in a damp location such as a covered porch as long as there will be no direct exposure to water such as rain etc. However, the airflow projected may be considerably weakened when the space is not enclosed by walls.

Question What is the room size this fan cover
Answer The Oceano works best in a room of up to about 150 SQ FT.
Question Is the bulb replaceable on this fan?
Answer The bulb can be replaced however we would need to provide it as it is custom. Please note the bulb lasts for about 10 -15 years

Answer It can be mounted on a slope of up to 20 degrees
Question Can the Océano model be installed in a covered porch?
Answer The Oceano can be installed in a damp location such as a covered porch as long as there will be no direct exposure to water such as rain etc. However, for best results the fan should only be installed in a walled space as the airflow will not be as strong in an open area.
Question Can fan be installed without the light?
Answer This fan can not be installed with out the light, however the light can be turned off while the fan is on.
Question How easy is it to clean the dust or gunk on the holes? Can you take it off and wash it with water/soap?
Answer It can be cleaned with a regular duster by brushing along the inside of the fan. It would be quite difficult to take the fan down to clean.
Question where can we buy a wall switch to go with this fan?
Answer Unfortunately we do not have a wall control for this fan.
Question Can you get a wall switch with this rather than a remote?
Answer Unfortunately we do not have a wall switch for this fan

Question What material is the out part made out of? Is it metal?
Answer The outer part of the fan is plastic
Question Can you supply a longer (than 10") drop down pole, for an extra charge and if so, will the wiring adapt to that or will splicing be necessary?
Answer Unfortunately we currently do not have a longer downrod for this fan.
Question In a smallish (10' x10') area that is now functioning as a home office, does the light when set to its brightest , provide adequate (noticeable) illumination, or is this more of a "mood" lighting?
Answer Yes, the Oceano fan will provide ample lighting in that space, the light is very bright at it's brightest setting
Question How is the light replaced? What is the longevity of the light?
Answer The light is LED and has a longevity of 35,000 hours. The light can easly be replaced by detaching the old one and wiring a replacment.
Question Can this fan be installed on a pitched ceiling with an angle mount
Answer It can be mounted on a slope of up to 20 degrees

Answer This fan works best in a room 400 SQF or less
Question Does the air flow directly down from the fan, or does it spread out and fill the room?
Answer The airflow does spread out and fills the room however keep in mind it is a small fan and is best suited for a room up to about 400 SQFT

Answer The hanging height is 12"(with 6" downrod) or 16" with (10" downrod) and the diameter is 23".

Answer Both the Oceano Bladeless Ceiling Fan and the LUMIO Bladeless Ceiling Fan can be installed in a damp location such as a covered porch as long as there will be no direct exposure to water such as rain etc. However, the airflow projected may be considerably weakened when the space is not enclosed by walls.
Question What type of light bulbs are required? What wattage? About how much do the bulbs cost? How many and can they be purchased at any box store or are they a manufacturer purchased item?
Answer The bulb is custom made for this fan.
It should last 15 years or more with standard usage. If a replacement bulb is ever needed it can be purchased from us for $15.
Question the oceano gold blameless fan can I get a matching color 3’ down rod?
Answer Unfortunately we do not have that size rod in this color
Question Is there a Wall Remote Control System that you can get with this as well? Hoping to replace the wall mounted on/off switch with a fan switch that's compatible with this Oceano Bladeless Ceiling Fan.
Answer We do not have a wall control compatible with this fan. However, the light on the fan can be turned on and off from the existing wall switch.
