The LUMIO functions as a ceiling fan while at the same time makes for a stunning light fixture. Featuring a fully dimmable LED light that can be set at one of three colors, the LUMIO combines beauty with comfort in any setting. When turned on, the outer casing rotates at one of six speeds, significantly lowering the room temperature just like the standard ceiling fan - only without the blades. The LUMIO's bladeless technology produces a smooth, natural airflow, giving the feel of an outdoor breeze on a cool day.

Question Can the LUMIO Bladeless Ceiling Fan work with Alexa?
Answer The option that includes phone app control features Wi-Fi connectivity and is compatible with Alexa.
Question is a longer down rod available?
Answer While we don't carry additional downrods for this fan, you should be able to find one at your local Home Depot or on Amazon. The outside diameter of the rod is 1" and it is non threaded.
Question How do you clean this fan it seems like it would be difficult.
Answer This fan can be cleaned by brushing around the inside of the casing with a ceiling fan duster. We suggest you use the kind that has enough "fluffy" material to get into the crevices of the casing.
Question Can a traditional wall switch be used to control the LUMIO ceiling fan in addition to the remote?
Answer Your wall switch can turn the fan light on/off. However the fan function can only be controlled from the remote
Question How do I sync the remote for the LUMIO Bladeless Ceiling Fan with the fan?

Method #2:
In order to sync the fan, turn off the power for at least 10 seconds, then turn it back on and press the "Fan" button at the top left of the remote 3 times and then press it a 4th time and hold for about 6 seconds until you hear a beep.

Answer The smaller fan (21") should be enough for a space that size, however if you are looking for a particularly strong airflow you might want to go with the bigger one.
Question Are longer downrods available? If not, can any other brand of downrod be used? Thanks!
Answer Unfortunately we do not have any longer downrods available for this fan. However you should not have a problem finding one that works at your local department store such as Home Depot, Lowes etc. The diameter is pretty much standard (1 inch) and you'll just need to make sure the holes are the same as the downrods included.

Question Can I install it outdoors? Under cover ceiling?
Answer The LUMIO Bladeless Ceiling Fan can be installed in a damp location such as a covered porch as long as there will be no direct exposure to water such as rain etc. However, the airflow projected may be considerably weakened when the space is not enclosed by walls.
