This fan can be cleaned by brushing around the inside of the casing with a ceiling fan duster. We suggest you use the kind that has enough "fluffy" material to get into the crevices of the casing.

Can a traditional wall switch be used to control the LUMIO ceiling fan in addition to the remote?

Your wall switch can turn the fan light on/off. However the fan function can only be controlled from the remote

How do I sync the remote for the LUMIO Bladeless Ceiling Fan with the fan?

Please try these sync instructions (depending on which exact model you have, one of them should be the correct method): Method #1: Turn off the main power breaker or wall switch, wait 10 seconds then turn it back on. Within 15 seconds of turning it back on, press and hold the power button in the center of the remote until you hear a long beep.) Method #2: In order to sync the fan, turn off the power for at least 10 seconds, then turn it back on and press the "Fan" button at the top left of the remote 3 times and then press it a 4th time and hold for about 6 seconds until you hear a beep.

Fan wobbles - how can it be balanced?

The wobble you are seeing is perfectly normal for this fan, because it is one piece (instead of separate blades), when it rotates around the shaft a slight wobble always occurs. There is no need for concern unless the wobbling gets severe or the downrod itself is moving which may indicate it is loose.

what is the size room does your fan covers

The LUMIO 21" works best in a room up to about 150 SQ FT, for a larger space we would recommend the 28".

Can 2 remotes be synced together?

Yes, two fans can be controlled with one remote.

which size is recommended for a upstairs open loft approximately 10' x 12'?

The smaller fan (21") should be enough for a space that size, however if you are looking for a particularly strong airflow you might want to go with the bigger one.

Are longer downrods available? If not, can any other brand of downrod be used? Thanks!

Unfortunately we do not have any longer downrods available for this fan. However you should not have a problem finding one that works at your local department store such as Home Depot, Lowes etc. The diameter is pretty much standard (1 inch) and you'll just need to make sure the holes are the same as the downrods included.

Can the motor be reversed?

This fan does not have a reverse function however due to the way the airflow is created it would have a similar effect in the winter as it does draw air down from the ceiling.

is the light a separate bulb that can be replaced when it goes bad or an integrated LED?

Yes, the light can be replaced and we can provide the replacement light if needed

The LUMIO Bladeless Ceiling Fan can be installed in a damp location such as a covered porch as long as there will be no direct exposure to water such as rain etc. However, the airflow projected may be considerably weakened when the space is not enclosed by walls.

In the event that a product is received damaged or defective in any way, we will provide a full refund or replacement upon request and the return shipping will be covered by Todays Fans. 1. The merchandise was not installed and must be in the original condition it was received.

2. Repack the product(s) for return and include all original packaging. Include the RGA number on the shipping label for easy processing once the shipment arrives at the warehouse. Simply write the Return Authorization number on the address label.
3. Returns must be shipped via FedEx, or UPS, or any other service that provides a valid tracking number and returned in its original carton, including all packaging materials and accessories, and have no markings or writing on box.
Once the order is received by the warehouse in its original condition you will receive an email confirming your refund and the payment will be issued back in the same method used for the original order.
